Lithium Mining in Bolivia

2022: Post-Conflict Development in Action: Lithium Mining in Bolivia Joseph Bouchard, a student from The Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University, will travel to Bolivia in the Fall of 2022 to complete his SMGP project Post-Conflict Development in Action: Lithium Mining in Bolivia. His photojournalism project will illustrate the various components of the development of Bolivia’s lithium mining industry through the lens of conflict and development.

SMGP Grantee: Joseph Bouchard
 
Joseph Bouchard was a graduate student at the Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University and a geopolitical analyst from Quebec City, Canada when he received a Student Media Grant to conduct a program in Bolivia. 
 
    
              Photos were taken in the mining region of Bolivia, near Oruro, La Paz, and Potosí.
