This end of project report presents the findings of the research project conducted on “Improving Opportunities for Youth Access to Employment in the Oil and Gas Industry in Uganda: A Case Study of Buliisa and Hoima Districts”. The project was implemented by Kyambogo University in partnership with Texas A&M (TAMU) from USA, with funding from USAID and TAMU. The project aims to support Vocational Training Providers in closing skill set gaps in oil and gas education. Improving youth access to productive employment is an urgent policy issue for countries around the world. A successful transition to the labor force is essential for young people to be assured of success in life, but many young people encounter significant obstacles to this transition.
