Senior Advisor

Anne MacDonald develops policies and partnerships that improve the lives of people in material poverty. MacDonald is a policy consultant to Fortune 100 companies, and works for an investment bank focused on rural development. For over ten years, MacDonald worked in the White House, Pentagon, State Department, and post-Administration office of President George W. Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush, where she served as her chief of staff. In these roles, MacDonald helped rebuild communities after natural disasters and conflict.

After leaving the Bush Administration, MacDonald lived and worked in Port-au-Prince, Haiti developing programs in agriculture and education for people living with HIV and Tuberculosis.  She also serves on the board of AgriCorps, a Texas-based non-profit that sends American agricultural experts to help grow incomes of farmers in Ghana and Liberia.
