Faromiki Olalekan
MASTERS STUDENT & GRADUATE ASSISTANT
Faromiki Olalekan is a Masters student in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University. Lazenger obtained his Bachelors degree in Agricultural Economics & Extension from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) Nigeria.
At Texas A&M, his research focuses on the economic implications of processed tomatoes importation on local farmers’ production capacity in Nigeria. His work experience includes serving as an import and export Assistant Manager, handling shipping and terminal operations in both sea and airport authorities in Nigeria.
Presently, Lazenger is working under the supervision of ConDev’s Director, Dr. Ed Price as a Graduate Assistant. He helps with a special horticultural program entailing growing dwarf Cavendish bananas under greenhouse conditions at Texas A&M.
